Nicki Shay is a designer, illustrator, and bourbon sipper living in Cincinnati.

HELLO!

When she was a little kid, she used to design PowerPoint presentations for enjoyment. In high school, her english teacher asked if anyone knew how to use Adobe Creative Suite and could help out with the school newspaper. No one spoke up, but she raised her hand thinking it would be fun to learn something new. Are we sensing a theme here? So she taught herself how to use InDesign, became editor-in-chief of her school newspaper, and later took an actual graphic design class to learn more about print design and the programs that make it happen. From there, there was no going back — creating has always been what she loves to do.

Nicki Shay currently holds a Designer position at MadTree Brewing in Cincinnati, Ohio. Formerly she was a Design / Marketing Assistant and Social Media Coordinator at D.L. Couch. She graduated from Kentucky Wesleyan College in Owensboro, where she studied Graphic Design while playing collegiate soccer.

She specializes in print design with an interest in branding, illustration, and packaging. When designing, she works to develop creative solutions that inspire and connect brands with their clients.

In addition to her full-time role, she is available for freelance opportunities and collaborations.
