Preferred Rate moved into a new office and wanted to bring their brand to life throughout the space with color and illustration that encapsulated their local community.

The brief mentioned illustrating a cityscape using a minimalistic style, but bringing to life more of a neighborhood feel vs downtown architecture and skyscrapers. Various moodboards were created to hone in on a theme. Preferred Rate ultimately wanted to move forward with Simplified Line-work: stripped down shapes in their simplest forms.

Using the brand color palette, various homes, condos, and apartment buildings were drawn up, while adding touches of their locale with the addition of the bell tower and the river boat. The artwork wanted to include Preferred Rate’s motto: We bring people home.
